"Animal Cracker" is described as a fish out of water comedy where Donovan will play an animal chiropractor who is injured in a freak accident and awakens on an Indian reservation in 1881. Once the reality sinks in, Donovan’s character attempts to earn the respect of the tribe members, most notably the chief’s attractive daughter,

resulting in hilarity along the way.

In addition to his acting career, Donovan is also a passionate advocate for anti-bullying through his organization, Team Upstanders. The program partners with schools to educate students on identifying and preventing bullying, and encourages them to take a stand against bullies. He is represented by Michael Yanni at Good Shepherd Management.
